As April and Morgan Freeman month rolls out – in rolls May and Rene Russo, our 5’8” redheaded beauty from Burbank, California.  Russo’s career began when she was approached by a scout and manager from International Creative Management while attending a Rolling Stones concert in the early 70’s.  (She sounds like my kind of girl).  Her opportunities developed from there and in April 1974 she graced the cover of Vogue magazine, something she would do many times over before her acting career took off.  In 1987 she took a part in a television series by the name of Sable.  It wasn’t until 1989, at the age 35, that she took a part in the movie Continue reading

April is Stress Awareness Month so if you are stressed out, let’s do something about that.  Unwind with a glass of your favorite beverage and let’s watch a good Morgan Freeman movie.   Morgan Freeman is a tremendous actor who definitely seeks variety in his role choices, which you will see from our movie line up this month.  No decisions required on your part … all you have to do is relax, watch and enjoy!

We start our reviews with High Crimes, in case you haven’t had enough of Ashley Judd and then move on to Driving Ms. Daisy.  Third this month is one of my favorite films, Shawshank Redemption and we’ll wrap up the month with Outbreak.
